After taking a break from PICO-8 for a bit I've recently come back to it and during my dabblings I've found a way to speed up how this game draws. So as a little hallowe'en present I've uploaded a new version that should stay at 60fps, (even during the end screen) and also no longer has to take shortcuts like drawing the HUD (score etc.) behind the stairs(!).
